Blogo, the open source blog software for Lotus Domino has a new release, v1.30. New features include support for tagging, quick edit links, further search engine optimization and a few bug fixes.

The most notable change is the support for tagging. You can select tags from a predefined list or type them in manually for the blog entry you are posting. The tags in which you post blog entries will display on the right sidebar. The first link in the tags sidebar block links to the tag cloud of your blog. Here's a live tag cloud, from the blog you are now reading, which runs on Blogo 1.30. Here are the updated links for the software:

Does uploading images to the $master_graphics document under the resources section depend onyou having DominoDisableFileUploadChecks=1 set in the notes.ini ? I get an error when I try to upload a file.

comment » Yes, it does. In fact, any file you upload in Blogo depends on it. You kind of answered your own question there , The reason is that Blogo is pure XHTML, it does not use HTML and Javascript generated by Domino. This means I had to mimic the file upload control. Side effect is the .ini setting «
