Photoshop actions »

The other day I found some cool free Photoshop action sets. The idea is simple: You download them to your Photoshop actions folder, load them into Photoshop and play them on the image file you are working on. They are in essence preprogrammed graphical tasks to apply to your image. I have used my own action sets to mass-process large sets of photos, i.e. to resize them or insert a logo. These action sets are much more sophisticated though, as you can see from the following two examples, as applied to a screenshot image of this site:

I've found out about these action sets via Smashing Magazine. If you're interested in design, css, fonts, Photoshop and stuff, I recommend you subscribe to them, it's free.
