FERDY CHRISTANT - JUL 28, 2009 (02:50:30 PM)

Female impala closeup

From July 8 till 24 we made a memorable trip through South Africa and Swaziland. As always, our primary interest was in spotting wildlife. We travelled the country for 16 days, visited many national parks, markets and cultural villages. Since it is currently winter in South Africa, we had cold early mornings, yet sunny warm afternoons.

I will not bore you with a detailed travel report, instead, just have a look at a small selection of our photos taken at this trip:

comment » Guau!

Awesome! I haven't words in english to describe those pictures! ... 25 And you must have a lot of patience for doing those pictures, i guess. Because those animals are very nervous and run a lot! 30 «

comment » Juan,

You are right. Taking these pictures was much harder then in Costa Rica. Animals can hear the safari jeep coming, there is always trees and grass covering the animals. It's very hard to get a good short of them.

Thank you for the kind words though. «
