With joy I hereby announce that I just opened an all-new wallpaper section on my s3maphor3.org open source site. Not just a few wallpapers you will find there, the first set contains 100 free wallpapers in formats 1280 x 1024 and 1024 x 768. You can use these wallpapers freely as long as you keep the logo intact.
Loyal readers may notice that the wallpapers are based on photos from our trip to Costa Rica. We've gotten so much positive feedback about these photographs that they inspired me to create wallpapers out of the best ones. Enjoy!

I like "blurry-background-and-sharp-object" photos but on some of your pics the blurryness starts a bit too soon for my taste.
Check out http://www.j-roumagnac.net/index.php?x=browse. I'd like to be able to shoot pics like this this guy does sometime. I especially like the surreal quality that a lot of the photos have.
