Despite being busy at work and in my personal life, my s3maphor3 brand of software is not on hold. Here are some updates you can expect in the (near) future, at least before the end of this year.

PIMB

PIMB stands for PHP Instant Messaging Bots. While it started out as a silly experiment, I'm now taking it very serious. Imagine, writing your own bots and the rest of the world being able to use them from their IM client of choice. PIMB makes this as easy as possible. I intend to release a 1.0 this year.

Blogo

Blogo, my Lotus Domino-based blogging software is pretty stable now. Yet, small updates will continue to be released. The next one will add integration possibilities for Google Adsense on your own blog.

S3MAPHOR3.ORG 2.0

Web design, although not my profession, remains a hobby I cherish. I'm currently working on yet another design for my s3maphor3.org site. This time I'm switching it to a black web 2.0-ish design. Here's a preview (click to enlarge):

I'm quite proud of this design. Although inspired by others, everything is done from scratch and is original.

Others

When time allows me, I will do some experimenting with artificial intelligence based on the book I'm reading about it. I also plan to learn more about Ruby and .Net. Finally, I will continue to write articles on an ad hoc basis.
