105 projects on OpenNTF »

FERDY CHRISTANT - APR 24, 2007 (06:32:13 PM)

Bruce posted a great entry about 105 projects on OpenNTF. This must be the quickest way to browse through the available projects, well recommended! One thing I did notice while skimming through the projects, with all due respect to the volunteers, is that often the user interface is not up to modern standards. Let's hope Chris inspires more people to take this more serious for future applications.

comment » I agree with you that UI is indeed very important. My goal has always been to produce apps that would be so easy and intuitive to work with that I wouldn't have to write a user's guide.

More seriously, you can have the best app around, but if the UI sicks so bad that it's preventing users from using the app, then your app is worth nothing.
