A while ago one of my readers gave me two valuable suggestions concerning project JungleDragon:

• Release it as soon as possible, and gradually improve it based on feedback.
• Even when you have not released it yet, start some online buzz so that you build up an initial audience, as well as some search engine ranking.

Concerning the JungleDragon release date, yes, I will release as soon as I can. It's just that it concerns tons of work, and I have to do this next to a day job. Plus, I do think that what you initially release is crucial, users will not return if a first version sucks. All in all I'm at piece with a far away release date, for me this is a multi-year pet project which I will not rush. The point is made though, it should not take too long.

About the online buzz, I have actually taken some action. I have created a small landing page and launched www.jungledragon.com to point to it:

• I've set up a dedicated JungleDragon blog at blog.jungledragon.com. It's a Wordpress blog that will solely focus on JungleDragon. There may be some double posts on this blog and that blog.
• I've set up  a JungleDragon Twitter account at www.twitter.com/jungledragon
• I've configured mail.jungledragon.com to use Google apps for Domains, which is awesome. I now have some professional looking Jungledragon email accounts, for example fchristant at jungledragon dot com.
• I also created JungleDragon Digg and Facebook accounts but I'm not sure whether I will use them,I think it is even against their terms of service to use functional accounts like that.

It's not much, but at least the names are reserved and I now have some channels to start the buzz.
